For Providers

Access More Patients

Ohio PPO Connect brings together providers with Ohio employers and members, helping to expand your reach while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Providers Are at the Heart of Our Network

At Ohio PPO Connect (OPPOC), we believe providers are at the heart of everything we do. You care for our communities, and our role is to make sure your work is valued, supported, and connected to the employers and patients who need you most.

We're not just a network, we're a partnership built to strengthen Ohio's healthcare system from the inside out. With a local focus, our decisions are made right here in Ohio, for Ohio, so you can count on a network that truly understands and supports your practice.

Provider Benefits:

  • Grow your patient base — Reach more employers and patients statewide.
  • Competitive reimbursement — We work with our TPA partners to simplify claims processing and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • A true provider voice in Ohio health care.
  • We partner with providers to support the health and well-being of the community.

Stronger Together

OPPOC was created by providers, for providers. By bringing together Ohio Health Choice, The Ohio State University Health Plan, and Quality Care Partners, we built a network that is truly rooted in Ohio and designed to serve Ohio.

When providers partner with us, they're not just "in a network." They're part of a collective effort to make health care better, more affordable, and more connected for every employer, employee, and community we serve.

What Our Providers Are Saying

Provider FAQs

We're here to make working with OPPOC simple and supportive. Below are answers to common provider questions—click any section to expand.

Network Participation

OPPOC brings together three provider-owned networks covering the state of Ohio:

  • The Ohio State University Health Plan
  • Ohio Health Choice
  • Quality Care Partners

Together, we form one connected statewide network for Ohio employers and members.

No. You only need to participate with one of the three networks to be considered in-network. However, if you share a contracted Tax ID with other providers, you'll want to verify your participation by performing a provider search on our Provider Search page. The network through which your contract is participating will show the search results to the right of the provider name.

Use our Find a Provider page to quickly see your network affiliation (a logo will appear next to your name). If you contract under multiple Tax IDs or need confirmation, contact the network through which you participate directly.

Eligibility & Benefits

OPPOC does not administer benefits or pay claims. Please refer to the member's ID card to identify their plan administrator and contact the phone number listed.

The ID card will show which network applies for that member. In some cases, OPPOC is the primary network, while in others, we serve as a wrap network. If you're unsure, call the administrator listed on the ID card for clarification.

Claims

Submit claims to the claims address listed on the member's ID card. This ensures fast, accurate processing whether OPPOC is the primary or wrap network.

Claims are submitted to the EDI address printed on the member's ID card. From there, the claim routes to the Third Party Administrator responsible for adjudication, provider payment, and applying the member's benefits.

  • Benefit or eligibility questions → Contact the administrator listed on the ID card.
  • Repricing or claim pricing questions → Contact the network using the phone number on the ID card.
  • Online claim lookup → Available through ClaimsBridge. To request portal access, click “Request Account” on the following link: https://www.claimsbridge.net/default.aspx. If you already have an account, you can log in here as well.
  • Contracted rates → contact the network through which you participate.
