About Ohio PPO Connect
Ohio PPO Connect (OPPOC) was founded in 2011 by leading provider-owned, Ohio-based healthcare organizations with a shared vision: to make health care simpler, more affordable, and easier to access for employers across the state. By bringing together decades of expertise and resources, we built a network that gives employers a dependable choice beyond the major carriers, while staying true to Ohio values and a local, people-first approach.

Established in 1982 as Ohio's first Preferred Provider Organization (PPO), Ohio Health Choice is fully provider-owned by The Cleveland Clinic and Summa Health System. This long-standing partnership reflects a tradition of innovation and a strong foundation in providing quality, cost-effective care throughout Ohio.
Established in 1995, Quality Care Partners, founded in Southeast Ohio, is an independent physician organization, managed and governed by employers and providers, widely respected for its customizable programs delivering low net cost solutions to employers. The comprehensive network across Ohio coupled with a full suite of medical management products, brings a unique, high value solution to employers/payors.
Affiliated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, this health plan offers access to world-class expertise and leading-edge care, combining academic excellence with practical healthcare solutions that benefit employers and employees alike.
